REALLY NERVOUS after HIV test.

I'm a teenage male. I had unprotected sex with another male last June (me on the receiving end) it was only for like 2 minutes (he did not have an orgasm...it was actually really dry) but I did give him oral sex and he came in my mouth...I spit out. About 5-6 weeks later I had a STD/HIV test. Everything came back NEGATIVE. In november, I gave another male oral sex (I didn't let him ejaculate into my mouth...but I'm sure pre-*** was). Those two instances were the only thing SEXUAL I've done up until this point of me writing this. A month after that instance in november I started having a cold. Just coughing and producing mucus. No fevers. I only wear a light jacket and even though its freezing outside. My dad seems to think that's where it came from. Common cold right? I've walked in the cold a few times for like 30 minutes at a time, so yeah it could have been a common cold. The cold lasted for more than two weeks. I'm over it now, but it did last for about 3-4 weeks. Just coughing and stuffy nose. I've been STRESSING out because I'm thinking that this is HIV. Like, I saw two nurses in like two weeks and they both recorded me down as having a really high blood pressure. That's because of me thinking about it. I noticed a lump on the left of my groin once. I messed with it so much one day, it kind of got a little bigger the next but now it's gone. Now, I'm just getting over a sore throat...it comes and goes. The doctor said it's nasal drip...which I can feel and tell it's mucus. I started taking something for it, but I guess it hasn't worked yet. I'm experiencing neck pains...mainly because I keep toughing it. I have noticed swelling on one side of the front of my neck and on the same side on the back. WHAT COULD THIS BE? I've googled a lot of stuff lately and everything that comes up scares the hell out of me. Could that swelling be lymph nodes too? Could this be HIV related at all???? I know about the 3 month testing thing and that 6 weeks test may not have been accurate. The only thing I've done after that point was give oral. I had tests done last week. Everything has come back except HIV. I was NEGATIVE for all the other STDs. I don't know about Syphilis because it wasn't listed on the report.

For starts, have no more unprotected sex.  Hopefully, these unfortunate experiences can serve as "wake up calls."

As remar stated it could be anything especially being that it is the cold/flu season not necessarily HIV.

Get an STD workup to verify you are not positive for another STD.

I would recommend you get another HIV test after the 3 month window period.

Keep us posted.

You may have had the flu or a virus. November is the worst time to get either of these.
Having high blood pressure is normal if your at the Dr and very nervous. Have them check it when you've had plenty of time to sit and calm down.
If you have a sinus infection that could cause the swelling in your neck and the sore throat.
Try not to stress out about your HIV test. Hopefully it will come back soon. If they did'nt check you for Syphilis then have them do it.
Since you've had unprotected sex since your last test, you'll have to be tested again.
I hope everything turns out just fine for you but you must carry condoms with you at all times and use them.
We have an HIV forum here if you want to post your questions there. The people there are very knowledgeable and nice. Take care. Remar
