Strange toenail

The condition of my toenail is kinda hard to explain so I've included some pictures. It's been like this for at least a year, maybe two, ever since I got mild chilblains in my feet. What seems to happen is that the cuticle hardens, separates from the nail bed and then grows out as the toenail grows. There's some small vertical ridges on the nail that you can't really see in the photos, and on the right side of the toenail it dips or 'spoons'. So, from the left side it's a normal rounded curved nail and once it gets to the right side it dips in slightly and then goes back to normal where the toenail finishes against the flesh of the toe. I hope my description makes sense. Anyone got any ideas as to what this is? There's no pain associated with the toe either.

Reading about symptoms, and it really doesn't sound like nail psoriasis at all.  The symptoms don't match

I cannot pull up your pics, however, you may have a simple cure for this. First, you should see a pediatrist to diagnose this condition but from what you are describing it could be a fungus that can be cured by a medication called Lamisil. Check with your Doctor first. They may draw a sample of blood first to check your liver function prior to you starting this med.

P.S. The reason the end of the nail looks kinda weird and jagged is I just trimmed them with a dodgy pair of nail clippers (only pair I could find in the house haha)
