Symptoms?

For over a month now I have been having pain in my forearm. It started at the elbow as if I have hit the funny bone up to my wrists which have felt like burning, squashed and aching. My fingers feel like they are being crushed and can get tingly and feel spongy little, ring, middle but can also feel index and thumb. If my hand wants to cramp and have felt it along the  outside of hand as well as along my palm side between index and thumb.
I have trouble not getting sleep or am woken up with this. Same with right arm but worse in left. I only use my computer for sorting through deleting  emails that have been sent to me or using the internet to look up stuff. I have been told Repetitive strain injury or carpal tunnel but which one is it and does anyone know what nerves are involved in this?

if you use your fone to much to text this may be a problem or may also be because of hitting a racket for tennis

Hi, Just to check did you have similar symptoms to what I had and was it mild or serve? How did yours come about or do you mean your a therapist ? I had an ultrasound and blood test but nothing came back. Am having a nerve test soon.
It would be great to hear from you.

i actually deal with this as well.  it is a combonation of carpal tunnel and tennis elbow.  i have it in both hands but more so in the right.  what i have been doing to help and relieve the pain is go to a massage therapist.  i pay 35.00 for half an hour of service.  they only work on the areas specialized.. basically the entire arm down to the finger tips.  i used to go twice a week, then once a week now just once every two weeks. been going since december of last year. works wonders. i will warn  you though, it is PAINFUL during the massage, but, wow, does it feel soooo much better afterwards.  i have seen a dr about it prior and they just told me i would need shots or surgery in the future.  with the massage therapy, i won't need either of those options.  good luck.. if it continues after 3 months of massage therapy, seek a specialist.
