Vaginal tear D:
Okay this is embarrassing....haha okay well i was getting ready to take a shower and i noticed something hanging out of the "lips" of my vagina. I noticed the left side of the labium minor had been torn about and inch to half an inch from the back....it does not hurt me at all but i would like to know if it will heal on its own? do i need to get it checked out? will it affect me?
If you're not bleeding then I think the Doc will just tell you to keep the area clean as to not get infection. Avoid sex too until it heals. It will heal on it's own. If it happened from sex then perhaps it needed to happen. I had a friend who tore from sex and it healed fine. It never happened again so it seemed like it was an area that was already too 'tight' and needed that extra area. *hugs*
