Very slight discomfort in center of chest

For the past few days I've had a very slight discomfort in the very center of my chest, so slight that I usually don't notice it unless I stay still and pay attention.  At first I thought it was because I had been working out more and I was just sore, but its not going away.  Is this something serious?  I'm debating if I need to go get this checked out, because money is tight and I don't want to waste money on tests if there's no actual problem.

Hello~It sounds like a pulled muscle to me. Is it sore to the touch, is it just one spot? If it continues, for peace of mind, see your doctor, but, I doubt if it is very serious. Good luck.
