Help please!

For five months now I have been having:

1) dry spot on my upper lip.  It is right on the middle of the upper lip.  Chapstick does not make it better, but it will not get worst.  If I do not use anything, it feels like if I had a piece of tape over that spot of the lip.  No real pain.  No blisters.  Just dry and peels every so often.

2) every now and then, very foamy urine.  Even if I do not eat meat/chicken/fish.

3) upper right abdominal pain.  It never really goes away, but its intensity increases and decreases.  Not rally a sharp pain, but dull and really annoying.  Feels like if something was always pressing on there.  I cannot seem to correlate it to eating.

4) feeling of weakness often.  and every now and then, shortness of breath if I exert myself... even just a little.

No other symptoms. They all started within months of each other.  Any thoughts?

1. Have you tried applying vaseline? that may help...
2. I suggest a urine sample
3. Not sure about this one, it sounds like heartburn. Have you ever had an ulcer?  You may have one. Consult your doctor.
4. Anemia? You may be needing some more protein and vitamins. If you go to the doctor and get a urine sample, you should also do some blood work.

Upper right abdominal pain can be problems with the liver or gall bladder.
If you eat fatty foods and drink alcohol, it would be a good idea to either stop consuming them altogether or cut down.

Shortness of breath may be from the fact that you are overweight and out of condition, have asthma or a heart problem.

The spot on your lip could be from a fat splash if you were frying anything.  I have had this happen to me.
Or a Vitamin B deficiency, usually Vitamin B12.

You really should see a doctor to check you out for the points I raised above and also take a urine sample so it can be tested for any infections and abnormalities.  A blood test for kidney and liver function would also be a good idea.

Best wishes.

You might have a nutritional deficiency.  If you have insurance, some lab work looking for deficiencies might be helpful, checking for anemia, thyroid issues, vitamin D deficiency.

If you don't have insurance and can't afford to see a doc, you could start a whole food type supplement.  You need vitamin D, magnesium, B vitamins, calcium at least.   But I think you can get checked for anemia at a health clinic, so that might be affordable for you.
