Well, although that may be alarming, it actually isn't very serious. I would still go to a specialist who may be able to give you more answers, but as long as no real pain or bleeding is present, it's kinda just a thing that happens to some women. They may be able to insert a Pessary (similar to a diaphragm) that holds the uterus in place. It does require maintenance, like cleaning and possibly being replaced. Surgery is more of a last resort, usually when the symptoms of it are worse than the risk of surgery.
Not sure why they would send you home. Did they tell you to visit your gynecologist? I wouldn't ignore this. Please see your doctor or better yet gynecologist. Good luck@
Did they recommend that you see an Gynecologist specialist? A woman can have a prolapsed uterus and live with it. But, you do need treatment to take care of this problem. You can either go to another hospital or see a Gynecologist on Monday.
