FYI,..I also had my gallbladder taken out about 2 years ago
I get the same thing and I have had it for years.I kept telling my neurosurgeon it was my thoracic, I had MRI after MRI and they still say it is not in my mid back.I can not find a solution to this day as to why thins happens to me, I have even went so far as to think I was having heart problems and had all sorts of test done for that. You may want to see a neurologist and get some testing done, my best advice is ask your primary for a referral to a neurologist and tell him or her what is going on
Well, it could be pleurisy as that hurts like a stabbing pain when you breath in. You should see a doctor they can start with listening to your lungs and heart. If that is normal and EKG is normal then have them refer you.

Thank you for a response. I took some pain pills and it has gone away...at least for now. I still would like to find out what it is but don't have insureance and the money to do so.
