bleeding during sex!

I'm 20yrs old and had sex for the first time about a month ago. I did not bleed, possibly because i suffered an injury to my vagina when i fell down as a kid n hit the edge of the narrow curb i was walking on. The next time me and my boyfriend had sex was on the 5th day of my period(my periods last max 5 days, usually just 4), and i bled this time. Could it have been due to the sensitivity of the vaginal wall during periods? My vagina bled the next time we had sex too- which was 2 days later. There was very little blood, but i'm worried the penetration on the last day of my period could have left a wound. Please suggest what steps I should take.

Another thing that hasn't been noted here is that the vagina is covered by a membrane called the hymen. The hymen is a very thin sheath of tissue that can partially or completely cover the vaginal opening. Usually, during the first intercourse the hymen will tear and stretch, this can cause significant bleeding. The hymen could also partially tear the first time and subsequently continue tearing through additional intercourse. Eventually, the hymen will have stretched enough so that it does not tear, this can take several times to happen.

Do not worry about your boyfriend injuring you with his penis. The vagina is made to not only accomodate a penis, but it is also designed to pass a child. The vagina is very elastic for these reasons. I had pain and mild bleeding for the first ten times I had intercourse! So it is completely natural.

First I think you are fine. bleeding after sex is normal if it is not to much. If you are having a period the uteritis is full of blood. Sex will cause it to bleed a little more. Sex during your period will help with cramps or you can use a toy.
You uteritis will hold some blood after your flow and when you have sex it will massage the uteritis and allow it to come out. Sometimes you stop after your period this is from the same blood left in the uteritis.
Enjoy sex during your period and teach your partner.

I have intercourse also like the last day of my period and i bleed aftr sex! That usally last for a couple of days when i have intercourse aftr my period? I would say it is do to you vagina pulsating from an orgazium and it is pushing out all the fluid like the secreation from the excitment. And the left over blood just follows with it? I would say for sure that it just left over blood that is coming out while having an ORgasium! any other questions please write back soon

Don't worry about it! It is very normal.. One, sex right after having your period can cause you to bleed again (for me normally two more days of very light bleeding) because of contractions causing pressure in the utres. The human body is designed for body to body contact. If the man is long he can hit the back of your cervix causing impact on the veins that could bleed after sex. The thicker the man, obviously causes streching that will cause bleeding. My personal opinion is don't worry about it unless the bleeding doesn't stop or becomes extremely heavy. Then I would see a doctor. Note: I also had an injury on a diving board that caused me to break my wall and start having my period at 9.
