bumps on back of tongue

The past few days I've noticed bumps on the back of my tongue... they were just visible if I stuck my tongue out far and didnt hurt or anything. But today, one of the bumps toward the left side just feels annoying. Like when a popcorn kernel gets stuck on the back of your tongue... thats what it feels like. I tried using a toothbrush to kind of 'brush' it away, and it didnt work. I've also had a white coating over my tongue and dry mouth for about 2 weeks, and the sensation of something being stuck on the right side of my throat. I have no clue what this could be... I have a doctor appointment, but not til Dec 12th.

possibly step, colic, yeast infection, canker sores, and it could be an infected tooth or gum believe it or not.. if its not strep or colic you most likely will be sent to a dentist
