Hello I agree with isis006 the symptoms shall pass quickly and I wouldn't take them in the future because another adverse reaction is very likely.  If the itching becomes severe you can try some Benedryl and it should help stop it.  The Benadryl may make you sleepy-it does most people.  If you've never taken it before don't try to drive or go to work until you are sure how it will effect you. It doesn't make me sleepy, it makes me real jumpy and nervous.

id agree with your dr. a flu shot is exactly what its called. they inject you with a strange fluid that contains the actual flu. its a low dose of flu to help your immune system boost itself to better fight off the actual flu that will be circulating through people in the months to come. getting the shot can actually give you the flu, but yours does sound like a bad reaction to the shot.. if youre immune system is strong and youve never caught the flu before, you dont need this shot. this shot is ideal for people with immune deficiencies and the elderly. if youre healthy and young, spare yourself the possible sickness and side effects and just pass on the 'flu shot trend'
