from weight loss to weight gain
I started out on 2-25mg topamax a day and was losing weight my dr put me on just 1-50mg now and am gaining weight like crazy,is there a reason for this change that I should be aware or have checked
Hello, I agree with the other posts that topamax isn't likely the cause. You might want to see about getting your doctor to check a Thyroid level, a Fasting Blood Sugar, and an A1C, on you because Hypothyroidism, or Diabetes very well could be the culprit. topamax shouldnt cause you to gain weight at all i was on it for a while and lost like 40 lbs never gained any of it back either you should talk to your dr about it
