?gall stones

would sympyoms of upper right abdominal pain (just under ribs) lasting two hours gets steadily more painful, squeezing in nature radiating to back and shoulder, nausea, sweating and unable to sit or even lie down, indicate gall bladder trouble. Some liver enzymes raised. not heavy drinker. Also constant belching after eating or drinking.

Hi well, if they have ruled out ulcer it may be the gallbladder at least that is what I think. My sister in law had hers out by laporoscopy (spelling?) and she didn't have that much of a problem after. Maybe it is something less problematic. I'll be thinking positive (good) thoughts for you.

Thanks for your reply. I have thought of an ulcer before. Then the symptoms changed. I got my appointment through and the ultrasound is only ten days or so away.
I feel so much better knowing someone should be able to at least rule things out. I feel caught between the river and the deep blue sea.....if its gall bladder? well, dont know if I could face treatment, if its not then what if its my liver???? Both not nice to face! Still enough moaning! Thanks again

Hi, I am not a doctor but it sounds like your gall bladder or liver. Most likely the gallbladder because of the belching after eating/drinking. You can have it removed if that is the problem and you have to change your diet but you get used to it after a time. The only other think that comes to mind is an ulcer. They may have to do an upper GI or a endoscopy. I have had both. They are easier to take these days. You need to go back to the doctor.
take care,
