Thanks for the advice! We originally thought it came from someone else, here it was a friend that frequently visited. Thats why it was never really bad, we'd get rid of it, then the friend would visit, and there it was again! Did one last treatment, hopefully problem solved! Thanks for all the advice! :)
If the eggs are brown...they have already hatched. If they are light/clear then they are live eggs. It's possible if it is brown that it is just one you missed one. However I do have some tips to keep the nasty critters away. Either buy tea tree extract pure and put the recommended drops in your shampoo or buy tea tree shampoo. It is safe and healthy for your hair...with a wonderful cooling sensation. You can also lather the hair and then add drops of extract as you lather....hope this helps...good luck:)
Try washing your daughters head with olive oil - pour some oil on her dry hair and then spread it as if it was shampoo until its wet/oily all over. then clean the hair with a good lice comb - comb t in all possible directions taking small portions of the hair at a time. this is time consuming, can even hurt a bit if she is super sensitive + she needs to wash her hair a few times after that so that the oil disappears. maybe this will help? helped my daughters...
