i feel an escrushating pain my right ear

Every time i yawn i feel an escrushating pain my right ear it usually lasts 30 sec or up to a minute at times or  sometimes the pain comes randomly.. Ive been fighting a cold for almost 3 weeks and im not sure if this may be the cause. What could it be and what can i do?

i been avoiding going to the dr. because i dont have insurance yet but i dont feel that my cold is getting any better so ill make an appt.. thanks for your recommendation..

try using a few drops of sweet oil in your ear

It's possible you have an ear infection. I think you might want consider talking to a dr. 3 weeks is a long time to be sick so you might need a bit of help to get better. Also if the pressure builds too much in your ear you could rupture your ear drum.
