my stomach has swollen, i cant move for excessive pain,

my girlfriend gets these randomly at times, her stomach goes numb normally, but apart from that its usually nothing worse. yesterday, she vomited up nothing but water, whereas she had eaten about an hour before, which is pretty unusual. today, her stomach has swollen up; theres like a sort of bruise thats appeared there and she hasnt hit her stomach off anything. she says she finds it hard to move or talk, because it hurts.

shes been to the hospital twice and they really do not know whats wrong with her.
iv turned to medhelp because i have gotten useful advice for myself off here before, now im using it to help someone i love.

any help at all would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance :)

Hello not sure if yours is the same I had very simular symptons 15 years ago I had my first scope they found I had non-ulser dyspepcia.  Might look it up and read a little.  When I am having an occurrance with my dyspepcia My stomach swells on the inside as well can't keep even water down at times dont eat I don't wanna be sick but that was worse as I dry heaved and threw up stomach acid which is worse for my acid reflux.

I will ask this, how are her BM's, are they normal? Is she constipated? The one thing I can think of is maybe a bowel obstruction. Also, maybe gall bladder related. With all the symptoms she has, I would really take her to the ER, I know they have run tests more than likely, but, you need to really be firm with them and tell just how bad she is. I don't like the sound of this, they DO need to be addressed by a qualified doctor. I wish I could be of more help, but, things like this require more than just a lay persons diagnosis.

Good luck and please let us know how she is doing and what you found out.
