Waiting time for MRI Brain Scan?

Hello, I've been waiting for my MRI results for almost 5 business days and no one has called me. The report should be sent this week to my family doctor and I'm wondering that if I waited this long, is there a chance I can still expect bad news? I'm assuming that if they did indeed find something, the hospital would have called me to update me on the MRI scan or am I wrong? Thank you, and hope to hear from you soon.

In my experience, no news is good news.  You should definitely be advised of the results, with bad news coming much quicker than good news.  Good advice above, follow up with the doctor's office to let them know your concern.

If you haven't already done so, call your doctor's office to inquire about your MRI results.
