Hello. for two days in a row I been getting pain on the right side of my stomach to the back of my rib cage. and It feels like in the front to. I went to the E.R. and they thought it was my right kidney. or my gallbladder. they performed the test for gallbladder and kidney. they took blood and urine. and all came back negative. I usually happens coming into the evening after eating. what could be causing these pains, could it be something more serious. don't understand how every test came back negative. need feedback please..

Just wondering if the doctor was able to shed any light on what it might be

I can understand that, be prepared for him to apply pressure. I want to smack the doctor every time they do that.

Anthony it could be a few things, diet, ulcer, hpylori bacteria, is it only in the evening or is it after certain types of food? Are you taking new medications? I know for me I had stomach pain and they tested me for many many things and then finally 3-4 years later they tested me for hpylori bacteria and that came back as positive, then I was still having pain in my stomach area and they sent me for ultra sound and cat scans and they found that I had gall stones and the gall bladder was inflamed and something else I can't think of. Mind you it took 3-4 years for them to figure this out, which is aggravating but they are doctors and they are not perfect. I can only suggest to make an appointment with your PCP and see if he or she will order a hpylori bacteria test and if that comes back fine then maybe suggest an ultrasound and cat scan.
