Ack!  Crystal Lite is bad for you!  Anything with an artificial sweetner is very bad for you!  Try ordinary lemonade or limeade made at home if you must have something sweet.  And use either real sugar or xylitol.  You could be dehydrated from those drinks.... and stay away from sodas which also dehydrate you. - You might want to try some Pedialite until your electrolytes are balanced.  If you can't stomach plain water, add a little lemon or lime juice to it... but water is so important!  Tea will also dehydrate you as it's a natural diuretic.  - I hope your health improves!!

Just wondering, did this just start or has it been on going?  If it just started, it could be Shingles.  Herpes Zoster hurts like crazy - it felt like they were trying to pull my leg off without anesthesia!  I only had one "pimple" with it, so it was hard to diagnose.  The pain was excruciating for about a week.  I hope you feel better soon.

PS  You might try a warm bath with epsom salts before going to bed.  You can absorb some of the magnesium from the epsom salts.

Have you tried Magnesium?  While Potassium is a great choice, most of us don't get enough Magnesium.  A lack of magnesium causes muscle spasms, dizziness, electrical zaps, a choking feeling, and many other symptoms.  Hope this helps and you feel better soon.
