sudden blotchy redness on face, pins and needles

hi
in the last day or so I have this odd problem occurring. when I sat in my desk chair I feel like my circulation is perhaps being cut off a little? this hasn't been a problem before but it was noticeable the other day as a feeling of slight pins and needles in my arms ,or that there is a pressure on it and the blood isn't flowing though properly? like when you apply a weight to a limb. more noticeably in my left arm. today I was leaning forward on my chair to read something and I suddenly got a feeling in my head of pressure building followed by my heart beat being noticeably loud in my right ear and my face feeling hot and flushed. I leant back and tried to relax and it subsided again.when I looked at my hands my knuckles had bright redness on them ,then when I went and looked in the mirror I saw my face had broken out in a red blotchiness . after some time the redness gradually subsided and went back to its usual tone and complexion. also recently (I noticed it last night but on occasions in the past too) I had been finding it slightly more difficult to breathe. like a feeling that I need to take larger intakes of breaths and that my nasal airways are not getting enough air into my lungs even though they are as clear as usual.

Get in to see your Dr for a check up. I think more and more people are having problems like yours because of computers. Do you get up from you desk a few times an hour? That will help with your circulation. Do you find yourself hunched over your computer? That can cause pressure on your neck which will effect your arms. Really though, the best thing to do is see your Dr to find out what's going on.  Remar

I am still having these problems and have visited the doctor quite a few times asking about it. recently I had bites from mosquitoes on my legs and instead of the marks healing up they stayed very red indeed like the blood was pooling in my legs that is often what the constricting type of feeling in my limbs feels like i often get it in my legs after lying down or in my arms when my arms are laid flat or left in one position.when the doctor saw the bites he said it could be an allergic reaction but I don't think its an allergic reaction to insects as i'm not regularly in contact with them, that was the first time i had been bitten by mosquitoes in a very long time.looking up some symptoms for low blood pressure I can relate to a lot of the things that are written there.but by the time I got to the doctors the feeling of tenseness in my muscles and legs had gone, so when he measured my bp it was back to normal again.
what could this be? are there any allergies that can trigger changes in blood pressure?

doctor checked me out and said everything was fine,
I'm still getting similar problems , but I have stopped sitting for long periods in the computer chair, I now use it for less time and sit on much more comfortable bedding which is further away. I haven't had the blotchiness on my face again but what I am still getting is the strong heartbeat in my right ear and tense feeling in my arms ,sometimes the wrists or the upper arms near the bicep which is painful to touch, at the moment I have a tense pain in the main muscle in my forearm ,sometimes i've had the same feeling in my legs, it feels like its being constricted. I notice I get these odd things happening after I eat alot of sweet food.

Good, I'm glad to hear your going to see your Dr. You have to get up and take breaks several times an hour. Even if it's just for a minute or two. Can you move your computer closer so your not hunching over to see it?  Remar

thanks for your reply,
yea I think i'll be getting down to the docs. I do spend a lot of time infront of the computer on that desk chair. sometimes I have sat on the chair for periods of longer than a few hours without a break and occasionally I will hunch up if I have to lean forward to read something.
