Pain in left side, weird stool, fatigue, gas, cramps, nausia

For about 2 weeks now I have been really tired, I wake up in the morning and feel like I havent slept at all. I feel bloated, I have gas and abdominal pains, seems to be mostly on my left side and front  and back, I had diarehha and nausia. I went into the hospital and was told that my cell count was fine and also had flu tests done and they were fine also. the doctir told me that i probaly had Gastroentritis and that its been going around...its been 4 days ...and i still feel the same, yesterday i noticed that my stool was a whitish/creamy colored and seem to be blood tinged with diarehha, that went away however my stool is still pale and loose and i  there is still white stuff in it.. not in strings it seems to be a glob on it or around it  and i am still naucious at times and very tired with ALOT of gas and abdominal pain and cramping ...cramping tends to get really bad if i have to use the bathroom.  any help or information you give me would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Hi Melissa,

What is your diet like? Any recent changes? The bloat and discomfort, diarrhea and nausea are telling you that something is not agreeing with your stomach. 2 weeks is usually too long for it to be a virus going around. This sounds more like an intolerance to something you are ingesting.
Take a good look at your diet including supplements, sweeteners/spices and liquids and try cutting back on common offenders like dairy, gluten/wheat and artificial sweeteners. If it is an intolerance, you should notice a difference within a couple days. But in the meantime, try peppermint oil or tea to calm the stomach and break up the gas.

Hope you feel better soon.
