Am scared of contracting hiv?

  Dear experts,
Am a male 22 and had unpleasant decision after having unprotected sex with a woman in Kenya thrice of which one of the episode took place when she had menstruation,i had tests at 1week,2week,3week and 8week after the last exposure with hiv rapid finger prick test and all come back negative and still plan to have test on 12 and 13 weeks.i apealed to knw womans status and told me she was fine bt could nt and enquired frm to go for testing and also underwent rapid test with a negative result.
Is this test reliable?
Is there posibility of hving positive at later stage?
Is it posible that she was in her window period?
Kindly help me and regret of doing it again thanks.

Your rapid test result at 8 weeks is very encouraging and not likely to change at 3 Months.The odds are greatly in your favour.All the best.

Thanks bt do you recommend that i ignore the negtive hiv rapid finger prick test i had at 8week?
And do you think if i go for a fresh test that i might get a different result?

They definately have hiv testing clinics and hospitals where you can ask to be tested.Take the test now.Don,t wait until august,it will be to stressful for you.

Bt my worry is am in kenya for official duty bt would get an updated test when i go back on August2011 which may be a bit long and unable to work hard coz of this episode.
Do u think keny as a developing country would have an updated test for hiv like the rapid test for 5minutes?

And do you think when i had a negative rapid test at 8week will posibly change at 12or13week? VERY VERY UNLIKELY for an 8 week test to change now with the new testing used including rapids.

Dont worry, get your 12 week neg result and put this behind you.

The only way your going to receive closure from this exposure is by testing at 3 Months post-exposure,when you will receive a conclusive result and the answers you seek.All the best.
