Everyone who needs to test needs to test past the window period, rather than in it.
No one ever needs to test past the window period of 3 months, except those that are on chemo, antirejection drugs for transplants or chronic IV drug abusers. The chances of contracting HIV via toys is nil. There has never been a case of anyone contracting HIV by using sex toys etc.
It's possible, though the risk to the second receptive vaginal or anal partner would be lower than for receptive vaginal or anal sex but higher than for an environmental surface.
You do need to test past the window period for this event.
Use condoms on toys if sharing and change the condom before switching partners with the toys.
Like all other items of personal use like tooth brush, safety razor and beard trimmer, I would limit the use of MY sex toys (If I ever intended to use any) to myself only. Although the risk is very negligible as rightly pointed out by alienshadow, but why to that that even?
anything is possible for this being most sex toys go from one to another in a matter of seconds
but highly unlikely
