Can swallowing the saliva of a Aid person cause Hiv?

Hi Teak, Lizzie and other experts

Thanks for the advise on the earlier posting. Would like to ask you another
question on the contact with saliva.

One weeks ago, while doing a transaction of some products in one of the
shops in Turkey. During the bargaining, saliva from the sales person flew
into my mouth. I was shocked and worried that i may contact HIV, if
he a HIV positive. So do i need to go for a blood test on the 6 weeks time
and follow by the 3 months? How safe is my encounter? what is my risk?
I can"t help it, as the picture keep coming into my mind.

I really need some experts advise from peoples like you. Thank You.

Some where on net you will find that you need to consume a galon of HIV infected saliva to get the virus load for getting infected.  This is because saliva have a very very low viral load.
It has been time and again proven by research that saliva does not pass HIV.

With no intenton to confuse you or to keep in you doubts, the fact is, there is an extremely extremely low possibility of your catching HIV if ALL the following has happened at the same time:
1. The person who spits has HIV (may be a probability of 1 in 1,000)
2. His saliva contains blood (very very low probability)
3. The saliva containing blood enters  in to your blood stream through a cut in your mouth (again a very very low probability)

So definately you are at risk but probability seems to be the same as a meteor striking Earth and things coming to an end.
Would you like to burn your self worrying on this?
In my opinion no testing needed at any time for this incidence.
