your symptoms are NOT indicative of hiv infection.

if you are concerned you had unprotected sex...then test 3 months after potential exposure.

Hi Lizzie Yes. Sorry.

Was away on a trip to Peru and our first night three of us got very drunk. Many patches of night that i forget but do know that a girl from one of the more seedy bars came back to our apartment. Not so much a prostitute but soemone know to sleep around but not for money.

Cannot rememember all detaiils but concerned i had intercourse, unprotected. this was approx 3 weeks ago. Im not sure of her HIV status but known she does sleep around.

Since returing home i developed a rash over trunk, back, arms ,legs and a few papule type circles on palms and feet. Entire rash has been extremley itchy.

Saw a dermatologist and given the Panafcorte orally.Dosage as previously mentioned. treatment for last 3 days and the rash has gone down a lot yet still visible and still a little itchy. The papulules on hands still there. Course of treatment to continue for twenty days or so

My concern here is although the rash is slowly improving with this medication plus the cortisone cream and antihistamine tablets im worried that the reason ive had no fever, malaise , achy muscles etc is due to the corticosteroid treatment masking these symptoms

Appreciate your thoughts.
