Cialis + Drink + flu infected sexworker +broken condom = need desperate help

Hello to all,

before posting this question i did some reasearch and i find i am not the only one who is posting this question, but i have a bit of different situation here.
yesterday night me and my friend got two paid sex workers (i know i did wrong and i am crying now) i took one tablet of Cialis and drink quite good amount as well.It was one on one sexual encounter, she gave me oral( blowjob unprotected) no french kiss, no exchange of salvia, in the middle of the intercourse when i stroke in i felt the condom is broke( i wore two condoms) i withdraw it the second i realised, i guess the exposure maximum last 5 seconds( i was on top)...nothing more then that...and no ejeculation or orgasm made at that time....i put on new condom (again two condoms) and finish the session...
to mention again she were having flu...when i sit with her,after 1 hour i start feeling that i got some flu as well,...anyhow all done..
when i wake up in morning the first thing i got in my mind was that little exposure...now i am scared to death of the HIV infection...thinking since morning for every damn second...its exactly now 18 hours for the incident...i am feeling light fever since morning and the more i think...the more i am getting it...
what are my chances that i took an infection or any other STD...i got some little itching all arround my body...without any rash or sever itching...may be its just my mind is thinking too much...the more i am reading on this topic the more worst its getting for me...
PLEASE HELP ME...do HIV infection get symptons that quickly like fever and flu?? within 12 hours even??? or any other STD....help me please (not to forgot i am heavy smoker as well)

Hey Zain, I don't knw abt other STD's but as far as HIV is concerned the answer is a resounding "NO". It simply doesn't. The first stage of infection carries no symptoms. So stop worrying and reading online, if you do, you'll find tht you have everythng that they say. Relax.
On tht point, using two Condoms is not very good practice, it causes friction and tht causes Condoms to fail, as clearly demonstrated in your 'situation'. One Condom tht hase been stored properly and used in the right manner is enough to protect you.

ok calm down, with HIV symptoms they do not appear until 2 - 4 weeks after infection. the flu is very catching!!! its too early for symptoms. your mind is going into overdrive. i know exactly what that is like coz i have worried needlessy about hiv.
but whatever we say i dont think its going to sink in. an unproctected blowjob is NO RISK.
it is highly unlikely you caught hiv from 5 secs of your penis being exposed. its even highly unlikely she ever had HIV in the 1st place.

but get tested for peace of mind. the mind is an extremely funny thing, it can do all sorts to trick you.

5 seconds...possible but unlikely and if you were under the influence of beer or whatever it can impair your thinking of how long something was. test at 3 months for a conclusive result.

Note...do not wear 2 condoms, they break easier and you found this out. Stick with 1.

i am sure and i remember because i was not lost at that time and i was compeletely in my senses...the second i felt its broke i put it out allthough it was 2 to 3 seconds but by keeping the margin of error i said its 5 seconds, the maximum i would say...
and one more thing...i can take the medicine for flu and fever as its not related to HIV?

sorry my bad...never been in such situation before in my 27 yrs...always had trusted partner( very few)...and usually i stick with oral...between thats second time i had paid sex worker after 18 yrs when i had it first time(protected luckily)...horrible mistake i guess...
my mind is just so damn F*** up...not able to think properly....i thought may be this flu have something to do with HIV symptons and i should take advice first...plus i belong to a place where i am not most likely going to find a trusted doctor...or the one i can consult with full confidence...my family doctor is out of question....

this is a mind thing! its hard to understand as your paniking. the only way for peace of mind is a test and thats all it would be - is peace of mind.

it is highly unlikely that you contracted hiv from 2-5 seconds of unprotected exposure.  it is also unlikely that this escort even has hiv...MOST ppl dont.

you can test at 6-8 weeks for a good indication of your status...just follow up at 3 months.

pep is normally reserved for those who had unprotected sex with someone KNOWN to be hiv positive.

hi Zain, i would strongly recommand you not to look up symptoms online, beccause trust me you mind will make you think you have those symptoms even though you don't. as it's been said , it's unlikely that the escort is infected but the failing of condoms automatically requires a person to test for peace of mind . i know 8 weeks and 3 months sound long , but if possible for you, you can contact the escort and ask her to go with you to the clinic and get tested and there a doctor would advice you , if you need a pep or not  , or just wait to test .... stay cool , and optimistic ,again it's unlikely that she is infected .good luck

thanks a million man for your information as i was trying to find PEP and HIV related docs and mediciens locally and i was unable to find any...and yah i tried calling them right now...but its night here in pakistan so nobody available...going to do first thing in the morning is to go there ....
i guess this anxiety is a main problem for me right now...all i can think is will 5 seconds cost me a life..?...:(....and i guess anxiety is which already given me lite fever....and offcoz anxiety have dramatical side effects which are enough to make you and feel sick...
a very good idea from my fellow to get the girl test for HIV...lets see if this is a possibility...her result can tell me 99% right away that if i am infected by any chance or not...

Her results in not going to tell you your status but if she test negative (which probabily she is) you will feel much better and wait until 3 months to get tested and expecting good new (negative).i hope you can act early to see also what the doctors will recommand you.

i'mnot an expert but i'm trying to provide you with some help (hopefully).
again in pakistan ,hiv is very very rare, so 99,99999% this woman doesn't have hiv.
getting her tested is a wonderful thing because it will make easier for you not to think about hiv and almsot forget about, but still in order to know your status ( which is negative)
you need to test yourself at the end of the window period . why is that ? because god forbid you never know ,if this woman is also in her window periode at the time she takes the test. that's why 3 good things to do are, see if you can get her tested , see what the doctor (the expert think especially about your question if  pcp is needed (i don't think you need it),and you can test yourself at 3 months post exposure for peace of mind.i hope for you the best ,

Symptoms mean NOTHING when it comes to one's status, Your risk may have been low but a risk is a risk!  Testing is needed to find out your status. Most people that test poz have no symptoms and most people with ALL the ars symptoms test neg. So as you can see symptoms really mean nothing and anxiety plays a HUGE part in it all.

test at 6 weeks and 3 months I am sure you will be fine as 2-5 seconds is not a great deal of time exposed to the virus (That is if she was infected) low chance of that as well.

you have been assessed and advised to test, at the appropriate time, to know your status.

as mentioned above...SYMPTOMS DO NOT DIAGNOSE HIV.  the symptoms of early infection are the same as a multitude of other common, everyday illnesses.

testing the worker, if possible, will ONLY tell you if you should go on pep.  IF she is hiv positive...you would qualify for pep.  having sex with someone who is hiv positive does NOT mean automatic infection ! ! !

please go back and re-read this post in it's entirety.  we have covered pretty much everything for you.  continuing to read and search for hiv will ONLY increase your anxiety and add fuel to that fire.

bottom line is...test to know your status.

ok i visited the Doc...he gave me the PEP... three diff tablets for ARC (lopinavir/ritonavir), Aviro-Z, and Avolam....dont know how this thing works..and what it does really any information will be highly appriciated...the Doc said when you are willing to do the basic why not do it to extended PEP,...he also said that the chances are rare that you got an infection but lets not take a chance and start PEP....also took my tests for HEPATITUS (hepatitis), CBC(full blood count), HIV ....after taking PEP tablets i dont feel anxited anymore...i guess i am better now..
on 28th day they will test me for HIV and will take my Virus load as well..i am trying to get the hooker examine...i hope i am able to do it...

i am in lahore and i went to shokat kahnam hospital.....but pimps center islamabad told me that virus load test available only at three centers in pakistan..

man pimps islamabad doctor were so helpfull...she gave me her personal number and offer all sort of assistant and mentally prepared me for PEP side effects..she also talked to the doctor in shukat kahnam lahore as well who saw me.....the goverment hospital sucks big time as usual...they didnot even bother listening to me and i thought i have to rush to islamabad for PEP(more time waste)...but shaukat kahnam did it for me...also pimps hospital islamabad said that if i can come there ...they will do all the testing for me and will provide PEP...but luckily shaukat kahnam provide me the PEP for free...they only charge the consultation and test fee(money is my least concern at this point offcourse)..i am sharing all this so next time when somebody comes...he knows where to go in lahore....

sorry for this question again...i check my fever in the morning and now...it shows the temperature normal...but why i am feeling like my body is hot....i have pretty much control my nerves....specially after taken the PEP....any guess???...i ask the doctor he said you dont have fever if you feel you do then eat paracitamol...
when i had sex...after that i took shower and i sleep naked with the light blanket...may be i get some sort of cold...but if its not fever then why i am feeling the hot body???

this post already has 50 + comments / replies.  you have 3 months to go ! ! !

you were advised that you risk was minimal...almost non existant...yet you chose to go on PEP.  now you have three months of waiting.  please dont come back to the forum every time you have an ache or a pain...SYMPTOMS DONT DIAGOSE HIV.

if you will read back through this post...you have also been told that IF someone experiences symptoms of early infection...that those symptoms come at 2-4 WEEKS after infection.  these symptoms will last for 1-2 WEEKS.  with that being said...the mind is a powerful thing.  i cant GUARANTEE you that if you stay on the internet reading about symptoms...you will create every symptom that you read about.  if i told you right now...that a symptom of infection was the 3rd toe on your left foot would start throbbing...within hours your toe would start throbbing.

you started pep...you test at 3 months post exposure.

p 24 antigen and anti HIV antibody 1 & 2, performed on 4th generation Eclia utilizing electrochemiluminescence immunoassay

PCR result will come after a week

shall i continue with PEP, any suggestions?
