Counterfeit Condoms

I've been living in China for the past few months where several times I've engaged in protected sex with local sex workers. What is bothering me however is that there are recent reports about millions of counterfeit condoms entering the market. There were a few times where the condoms used were provided by the SW. So I would like opinions about the safety of the condoms if it were counterfeit? Is there any protection at all? In addition, after my last episode, when I took the condom off, I have noticed there was white foamy liquid on my penis. Could this be vaginal secretion? My foreskin does feel a bit itchy however there isn't any redness or any form of bump. Please help.
