dry blood touching lips etc
Has there ever been a case where this could have caused HIV?
I would stay off that forum.
i just had a message from another site saying that if blood reached my mouth via lips i could be at risk , but surely the virus would be dead wouldnt it teak as u mentioned in your CDC post?
thank u very much for that
didnt want to sound like a pain but i do appreciate the help u have given
i doubt i did touch my mouth, but i guess it would have died in the air anyway even if i did.
From the CDC.
(2) no one has been identified as infected with HIV due to contact with an environmental surface. Additionally, HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
But could u be more specific please as to why i wasnt at risk
i would appreciate it
Reread the reply I've already given you.
Hi teak
are u 100% sure of this please, i have started to worry
You were never at risk of contracting HIV.
