Dried blood concern

Hi all

i am worried that i have been put at risk, i was at a party at the weekend and i may have touched what i thought was blood on the wall. I have dry lips also so i may have touched my mouth at somepoint afterwards.

I was fairly drunk as it was a work party so i cant be sure if i did or not, i have no visable cuts but can i get anything if i had touched my lips or rubbed my eyes? i have heard that u cant catch HIV from an eviromental surface but not sure if that is true or not?

any replies would be greatfull

didnt want to sound like a pain but i do appreciate the help u have given

i doubt i did touch my mouth, but i guess it would have died in the air anyway even if i did.

From the CDC.

(2) no one has been identified as infected with HIV due to contact with an environmental surface. Additionally, HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
