That's what we're dealing with much of the time.
None taken. I think you're both accurate in your assessment, as does my GP. I have been referred for CBT to help me combat these thoughts. Is it common for people to doubt such things? I don't know why I can't accept the facts but I do appreciate your advice. Apologies for my repetitive posting. Take care : )
It sounds to me as if you have allowed the fear of the idea of HIV to completely take over and although you are not only being presented with accurately negative tests and some fantastic and factual advice you still continue to fret.
It seems to me that your issue has now become more psychological then physical as you most definitley do not have hiv.
I would recommend that you have your GP refer you on to a psychiatrist who can ***** your level of anxiety and figure out a plan to move forward for you.
You do not have HIV and together with a psychiatrist you can work out how to move on from this.
No disrespect to you,but this has become a case of OCD not HIV.
My apologies. Future posts will be in the anxiety forum. Thank you again for the kind advice.
you had a duo at 4 and 7 weeks...rapids at 10 and 12...YOU DONT HAVE HIV ! ! ! ! !
at 4 weeks...the antigen in the duo test would have been picked up...IT WASNT. the timing of the other tests were perfect for the antibody to be detected.
please...if you cant accept your status...seek professional help. UNTIL then...take it to the anxiety forum here at medhelp.
