HIV 2

Does anyone know, with a fairly high degree of certainty, the window period for HIV 2?

HIV2 has the same window period as HIV1. HIV2 is less aggressive in it's advancement into AIDS. Does not have anything to do with antibody detection. You're still SAFE.

Thanks for your quick and direct response! I am encouraged by your certainty. Couple of things: First my symptoms are getting worse. Neck lymph discomfort, leg/feet neuropathy and biting type pain around abdomen area. Second, I read that HIV 2 may be a less aggressive virus and so my concern about a delayed seroconversion. I've looked around the net and can't find any solid info on HIV 2 and window period. Not trying to be bothersome, just concerned is all. Thanks again.
