HIV PCR test accuracy after 3 months

Hi. I live in Ontario, Canada. I had unprotected sex with a girl who I did not know 3 months ago and I started getting symptoms like white tongue, swollen lymph node on neck, fever. And I have been having body aches since then. Today I had a PCR HIV test result which came back negative from Public Health Ontario, but I have some questions about that. First, is PCR test conclusive after 3 months? I heard that PCR test is not the right one for screening, is that true?

As you know, unprotected vaginal is one of the very few actual risks for HIV transmission BUT it is less than one percent chance. So, really low.  All tests are conclusive at 3 months.  You did not get HIV from this event.

Any test is conclusive after 3 months. You probably always had a white tongue, you don't know what your lymph is supposed to feel like, and didn't record your "fever" temperature, so there's a good chance these symptoms are in your imagination anyway. But they aren't hiv since you are neg.
