Chances of getting HIV from one time sex.

I had unprotected sex with a stranger 5 days ago. I'm really terrified and not sure what should I be doing. What tests should I take and when? Any chances of catching HIV? Supposed the girl was hiv positive.
I feel really tired! I know this might be because the overthinking and the guilt I feel.
I would appreciate any help or guidance!

Thanks

Thanks again! I was reading another great article on http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/2884481 and it really helped me relax.. How accurate are the information in that article? I'll have my tests next week.. I called a lab and I was told I can do an early hiv test after 9 days.. So I'll do it along with all other std tests next week..I'm confused now because of the 9 days period. Just wanted to make sure if that's true..
Thanks again!

Ok. Thanks. Again this is was my first time and I'm not actively sexual. My pennies doesn't last a minute inside of her.. It was like 3 time but each time was maximum a minute and I didn't cum inside and I didn't have any anal. I'm not feeling any symptoms but I feel extremely tired all the time, could that be something I should be worrying about?

Brief penetration helps minimize the risk. More reason to expect a negative at 4 weeks.

The reliability of a tests accuracy is based on timing.
A 4th generation test looks for a p24 antigen that is produced prior to antibodies that peaks at 28 days. It also looks for antibodies that can start to be detected around 3 weeks in some ppl.
Please reread my risk assessment. You could also check out the expert forums and read the Drs archives. You'll find posts like yours and read their replies. Hearing it from them may help you get through your wait.

Does it have to be after 29 days not anytime sooner? 29 days seems a very long time to me!

"Most" women do not have hiv.
Chances are she doesn't.
If she did the transmission, female~ male, is not likely from one encounter.
However unprotected vaginal sex does pose a risk, though a much lower risk than unprotected anal.
Play it safe and take a 4th generation test 28 days from this encounter. A negative at that time with that test is mostlikely your true status.
In the meantime try not to stress, odds are very much in your favor.
