HIV symptoms

Dear Doc/Forum members,

Thanks for running a very useful forum.

I have a question regarding HIV symptoms. Almost 3 months back, I received oral sex from a professional while wearing a condom.
After that encounter, I had a weird zit like thing near my penis and I went to a dermatologist. He said it was a ingrown hair and he said it wasn't at risk for HIV but very small chance of herpes. He ordered herpes and syphilis test and they came negative.

Now, I feel a mild discomfort/pressure/stretching like feeling near my groin (both sides) and right arm pit (sometimes goes away on its own). I tried poking around but I did not notice any swollen lymph nodes or nodule like feeling.

Is it a sign of HIV lymph node swelling (internal, hidden) or just a muscular pull with my imagination running wild?

Thanks again,

I saw the doctor and he did notice lymph node swelling near the ear (he thinks it is because of acne). Also, I realized that after receiving oral sex, I did not take off the condom in a right manner. Instead I just rolled it off until I was able to pull it away.

What if some saliva with very small amount of blood (say after 30-60 seconds after coming out from mouth) spilled on my penis/touched urethra while I was rolling the condom off like an idiot. Can that cause hiv to transmit?

I did get blood work done and I will probably get them Fri or Mon but the anxiety is driving me crazy (cant eat or drink).

Thanks again,

That could be a symptom of hundreds of things, But NOT HIV.

See your doctor if it becomes an issue, It has nothing to due with HIV

Thanks for the update. Now I notice a painful bump (could be lymph node swelling or internal cyst) on the right neck. Is that a symptom of something else?

Thanks again

you were never at risk of contracting HIV so you cannot experience symptoms of it.that simple.
so to your specific question:Is it a sign of HIV lymph node swelling (internal, hidden) or just a muscular pull with my imagination running wild?
just a muscular pull with your imagination running wild
