What's my chances....really worried

Hi all,

Approx 6 weeks ago I had an exposure due to a broken condom with a work colleague I was the insertive member this risk happened for no more than 2 mins maximum and I immediately stopped and washed my self with anti bacterial soap once I realised the protection had failed. Anyway around 2 weeks after I started to feel a little under the weather and suffered with mild night sweats I started to research the Internet and saw they could be a sign of early hiv

Those are also symptoms of very minor, common viral infections, like a cold. Take a test now and you can be very confident in the results.  Modern tests are very sensitive, and rarely fail to detect infection at this point.  Then you can follow up at 12 weeks, but your results are highly unlikely to change.
