HIV through the palm of the hands

What are than chances that a microbe such as HIV seeps through the palm of the hands and cause infection?

Sorry, but you're wrong.  You cannot get HIV through intact skin, or even small cuts/abrasions.

If it's impossible than why do people wear latex gloves when handling HIV patients? I know people say that it can't get through intact skin, but HIV particles are very very very small and our skin isn't always fully intact.
