HIV transmission

Hi,

I have  read  at  many  places that   HIV is  destroyed outside host once  the  fluid  dries, but being  a  science  guy  always  wanted to ask  if  that  destruction is  irreversible (i * or  they say  this  assuming that  dried  fluid  is  not  being  injected into uninfected  bloodstream or contacting  any  fresh  cut of  uninfected)

Is  the destruction  irreversible and  if  that  dried  area contacts fresh cut/bloodstream  of  uninfected , infection  will not  occur ?

(Another  point)  -   Is  dried (long  dried) is  "No"  risk to  uninfected bloodstream   ,then why  do  medical  people  use  so many  disinfectants for  cleaning/disinfecting  HIV  as fluid  is  always  going  to  be  uninfectious after  drying.

Thanks  in advance

Worried a lot of this

Hi again,

O.K., Does  that  answer  implies  that  the  "destruction  is  irreversible" and  even  the bloodstream  contact will not make  it alive  again. Also the  history details  you  are talking  about has  any  incidence  when the  dried (for  long  enough) fluid contacted the  live  bloodstream of  uninfected e.g a  wound or  cut  making  good  contact  with this  dried  fluid ?

There are a number of other bacteria and viruses, those can survive outside their hosts, therefore medical professionals protect themselves from all of them, not particularly from HIV alone. It is a well established fact learned after looking at the history of HIV/AIDS, spread over 3 decades, no one caught the virus by contacting the body fluids, outside the body.
