HIV window period

Hi,

on the 13th of Feb i had a night out and unfortunately i cannot remember all of it but sex could be a real possibility.  On the 15th of March i had a routine blood test but in it they tested all of my immunoglobulins because on the last test my lgA and LgE levels were elevated due to my allergies.  Anyway all the levels were good and in normal range.  My real question is if HIV is present firstly would 4 weeks be to soon to know and secondly would testing all the immunoglobulin levels and Protein immunoelectrophoresis and protein electrophoresis be an indicator of HIV if they were high.  They along with my thyroid levels were tested and it was only one part of the thyroid that was marginally high.

The only way to find out your HIV status is to take an HIV test.  Other blood tests such as "Complete Blood Count's or Comprehensive Metabolic Panel's etc." cannot exlude you from infection.  Biochemical markers and hematological profiles may not be affected by acute HIV infection.  Test at the recommended time interval.....

1-first 4 weeks might be too soon.
   if u think you might have had unprotected sex then u should test at 3 mths for a conclusive result..testing at 6-8 weeks gives a fair indication of your status
