it is HIGHLY unlikely that your test will change. test in a couple of weeks...BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT...expect a negative. relax...(easy for me to say, huh?)
There is no arguement from the site really. The CDC states average to produce enough antibodies to be detected is 25 days and that between 2-8 weeks is good indication. They also say that 97% of people that are positive will test positive within 3 months. The remaining 3% of infected people that test negative are rare and usually already are in bad health (cance or othe immune problems).
Now the State of MA says 6 weeks in conclusive and the docs in the expert forum here that actually see the virus and patients in the field also say 6 weeks is a good test.
ok...i'm gonna explain this one more time. there is not an argument about whether or not tests today can give you a result to trust at 6-8 weeks. we have always stated that UNTIL the fda and the manufacturers of the tests change the guidelines...neither can anyone else. no one can...not you...not me...not some random person...and not a doctor. as it stands right now...three months is conclusive.
when asked directly people do not lie about their status//previous test taken..
10 weeks is a good indicator that you are not infected.
the continous arguement among this website and others are whether 6 weeks or 3 months are conclusive..
if you're still concerned you can go have a test done at the 3 month mark..but you likely will not have a change in status..
good luck and god bless
Most people arent going to lie about their status.
Your 10 week test is a excellent indication that you arent infected. You can always go back right after the 3 moth mark for a conlcusive result but yeah most people would have showed up by 2 months.
