what is the meaning of BS?
Can't explain it any better.
Vance, can you please explain your post?
I m poor in English.
Please
Weakly reactive is BS, you either get reactive or non-reactive.
I dont understand it. Please explain me.
When at all possible use a blood test as rapid tests tend to have a higher false positive rate. Weakly reactive is BS, you either get reactive or non-reactive. If you have a reactive test then blood is drawn for a WB which is a confirmation test.
kindly please explain me. I beg you all
Please, let me ask you for the last time.
I want to clarify the facts.
I understand experts may be busy.
I know that ELISA and rapid tests have similar functions and accurancy.
But for my case, rapid tests results show weak positive whereas the ELISA showed non-reactive.
Some sites suggest that if a positive test is obtained in a rapid test, it should be confirmed by another type/brand of rapid test.Is it true? For me, if it is true, I tested and tested again by other brands and results were weak positive always. But When I tested with ELISA, a NON-REACTIVE result came.I want to know whether all rapid tests showed false positive or ELISA was not as effective as rapid ones to detect antibodies at the same time?

So you had unprotected peneterative anal sex when you knew that could put you at risk of contracting HIV? You don't need our help, you need the help of a mental help professional.

I am now under very important condition and dont know what to do.
I had a receptive insertive anal sex with unknown status partenr.
I suddenly put my head of penis inside him and he can't stand pain so i removed immediately.
I made HIV antibody rapid test 6 weeks and 2 days after that exposure(they said they use immunochromatic test by Determine strip) at 6 weeks after exposure at a clinic and the result came out non-reactive.
but at 6 weeks and 3 days, I tested myself with a test device (using whole blood by fingerprick) and the result is weak positive.
I frightened a lot.
Is it false positive?
How can I confirm whether it is false positive or true positive?
Here in Myanmar, many clinics use rapid test that give result within 20 minutes as screening test.
What should I do now?
Meanwhile, I am suffering from respiratory tract infection-productive cough sometimes low grade fever.
