HIV transmission from one woman to another

I would like to ask , if my partner had a threesome with 2 women and one of them was a working girl , there was a moment there he forgot to change condoms and he inserted in me for like a minute....how high of a risk I am at for contracting HIV if that woman is not clean? Please .. I have been very worried and very embarrassed to consult this with any doctors in Thailand

Hello nursegirl, out of curiosity, when is it better to have a duo test in the 4-6 week period to give the most accurate indication of your status?
I've read experts say 4 weeks + and I've been told that 6 weeks is a much better indicator.
Thankyou.

To curioussoul, good luck with your situation and try do things to occupy your mind so as you don't stress too much.

Thank you Nursegirl6572, it was almost immediate though and less then one minute as when we realized out of our drunkness, we stopped.

As I read in some article, all kinds of body fluid could put you at risk and such.

I will def do a test, just that I need some info before hand cuz here you have to wait at least a month to get tested else it wouldn't be effective.

Well, the not changing of the condom could place you at risk, it would depend on how much time elapsed between him having intercourse with the other partner and then with you.  If it was immediate (like going from one to another), there would be some risk involved, albeit not a super high one.

It doesn't sound like you have too much to be concerned about, but testing isn't a bad idea.  You can take a DUO at 4-6 weeks post exposure, that will give you a very good indication of your status, and then follow that up with a standard antibody test at 3 months.
