I wore a condom but still worried

Hi All,

I recently had sex with a female escort (ok I know very stupid).  I wore a condom and it did not split when we had sex.

When it came to removing the condom, I did so in a normal way and put the condom in a tissue.  My question is this, if I had vaginal fluid on my hands (dried) is there still a chance of contracting HIV by touching the head of my penis?  I dont even know if the escort had HIV (but when you are in this situation you always think worst case scenario right?).

I read so many conflicting stories, some saying the chances of contracting HIV are virtually non existent when wearing a condom but im playing it over in my mind and this is the only way I could have contracted it.

Also, how many people do not show symptoms of HIV when they have it?  I had flu like symptoms a few days after possible exposure but did not have any night sweats, fever, rashes, enlarged lymph nodes, white tongue etc.

When an infected individual experiences enlarged lymph nodes, do they tend to be in a number of places (armpit, neck, groin) at once or can there be just one inflamed lymph node say in the groin?

I am off for a test on Friday this week, but would appreciate any feedback in the mean time.

Thank you in advance

You dont need a test for the situation you described. HIV never transmits outside its host body. You are safe and there was no risk of HIV transmission.

If you have made up your mind for a test, you may go for it, only to get peace of mind, result will always be negative because you were never exposed.

Do not pay attention towards symptoms, they are misleading in most of the cases.

You don't need a test on this encounter. No risk.
