Is postnasal drip and on and off headaches ars?

Hi! I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago with a regular but new sex parnter who told me he was clean. After the 2 week mark of unprotected sex I began to get a tension like headache that comes and goes through out the day and I also have a sore throat that burns when swallowing but I think it might be post nasal drip. I have no fever and dont believe I have any swollen lymph nodes. I was wondering if this is symptoms of ARS. I know the only way to know your status is to get tested but I have to wait 2+ months to get an accurate result. And i just want some peace of mind.
Side note: i went to the obgyn today for burning lasting a week and was told I most likely have a yeast infection when i told my parnter he said he thinks he has one too. Should I be worried about that?

Since you already know " the only way to know your status is to get tested " then I won't dwell on the fact that symptoms can't prove anything so no one here pays attention to them. A duo test is conclusive at 4 weeks, and any other test at 3 months. Is it possible to get him to test or do you know if he had unprotected with anyone else in the last 4 weeks?
I presume you had vaginal sex.

It was vaginal. And im too embarrassed and nervous to ask if to get tested. And he says he is only sleeping with me.
You need to have anyone you sleep with tested for HIV up front, but in your case do it now. there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Gambling with your health is not a smart option, so tell him to use a condom until he is tested.
