hiv needs a host to remain active.  so lets just say that "IF"..."SOMEHOW"...someone had smeared hiv infected semen all over EVERYTHING in the test kit...it would NOT BE ACTIVE.  when exposed to air...hiv becomes inactive shortly thereafter.

it is a serious question, because I received a home hiv test kit and i did a home test myself. but after that, i found i can not find the information about the manufactory. i have to say i am not in the USA. so i think i might have bought a bad test kit..sorry for my poor english.
so i am scared to have been infected by this test. cos when i did the test my finger has touched the pippette, lancet, cassette and biluent, so please tell me if it is possible get HIV in this way?

No go to the doctor to get tested. At least there you may get some support if you are positive.

Is this a serious question? Or a case of extreme paranoia? I think you know the answer to this one.
