Fingering with fresh wound

Hi guys,

Again I apologize if this question sounds repetitive but I just want a clarification.

Please tell me if I am at HIV risk if I was fingered in the Anus by a HIV+ woman. Lets assume that the finger was cut during the 'fingering incident' - inside my anus. And this released her blood into my Anus... Will I be at risk for contracting HIV?

Am I zero risk from this incident?

I ask this because I vaguely remember the woman concerned interrupting the massage to get a band-aid for her finger. I am just prepared for the worst-case scenario here.

Please accept my humble apologies if this sounds like a repeat of my last question but I just wanted to emphasize the fact that the woman's finger was cut during the fingering incident. So if I understand correctly bodily fluids were exchanged inside my body.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Worried and can't sleep.

hi RainLover71,

Just wanted your opinion on the anus fingering incident again. - Would it matter at all if the masseuse fingered me deep inside?   - and her blood was deposited in my anus.

sorry Teak! This will be my last.

If you don't mind would you bother testing for an encounter like this?

I am at the end of the 4th week of my encounter. next week will be week 5

only symptoms have been rash that comes and goes - nothing really specific - no fever - mild sore throat - and mild headaches - a nagging neck pain - though as i said a lot of this could be due to anxiety and stress.

Hi rainlover71,

Is it true that blood will die out within seconds once exposed to the air - say even in my anus?

So on that basis are you saying No risk.

thanks Nursegirl.

I had trouble sleeping last night. This encounter is pretty much the only thing on my mind.

I wish I could let this go but I am still so worried. I have no idea whether the woman was HIV+ or recently infected with HIV. And what worries me is there is so much of the encounter which I don't remember. I know she fingered me quite deep and then suddenly interrupted everything like 3-5 mins after. I think she went out to put a band-aid but there is so much of that encounter that I don't remember. It didn't seem like anything went wrong...at that time.....maybe i am unnecessarily worrying.

Its only after I took the HIV test on the 11th that I went back to this incident and tried to piece together everything. So hopefully it is just my mind playing tricks on me.

alex....you are incorrect.  There are plenty of situations that are "no risk".  To say that there is NO situation that is a "no risk" scenario is completely wrong.  Pease do not spread misinformation in this forum.

switchhit...you have nothing to worry about.  Even IF the woman had a little cut, there would not be enough blood to constitute a risk.  If she had a hemorrhaging wound on her finger, that would be a different story, but if that was the case...you'd have been driving her to the hospital, not letting her finger your hind end.

You need to let this go.

I am just worried that I might have had a few scrapes and cuts on my anus. And I think she might have cut her finger during the process of fingering. So that is why I am so worried.

I hope it remains that way Lizzie Lou

there are NO cases of someone contracting hiv from fingering...there's a reason you won't make history and become the first...it doesn't happen ! !

If it was an RNA it would have been good but an antibody test at 11 days is to early

one last question if you don't mind RainLover71,

Since i took my HIV test on the 11th of this month - which was about 11 days post-exposure - would a negative result mean anything?

- i assume antibodies take some time to show up right. But wouldn't a test at almost 2 weeks post-exposure be somewhat re-assuring.
