What does this sound like?

Hi. Just wondering if this sounds like it could be HIV.

My wife has had irritable bowels for three days or so. Sometimes watery, and sometimes not. Also her stools are more 'pale' in colour (although the extremity of colour is a bit different each time she gos). She goes to the washroom maybe 5 times a day with this, where she used to go maybe twice a day.

Also, she has nausea (bad a couple days ago but right now, very faint) and she has a slight ache to her stomach, a good majority of time on her right side.

Does this sound like it could be HIV or more a gallbladder issue (I have heard these symptoms described as part of gallbladder problems; however she does not have the rest of the symptoms associated with it). She has not experienced any fever whatsoever, but there have been periods where she feels very cold and then kind of hot; however without a temperature. Also, I do not think it has anything to do with anxiety. As well, she is quite overweight, 32, and does not follow a low to moderate fat diet.

Thanks for any information.

It sounds gastrointestinal she should check have her liver and gallbladder checked . Unless she has been put at risk for HIV then tell her to go get tested.

Yes there is an exposure. My wife and I have an 'open' relationship and about 10 weeks ago while I was with someone the condom slipped. So I am just trying to figure if these are symptoms which could be HIV or if they don't sound like they could be.

Thanks.

What makes you think it can be related to hiv, do you think she is being unfaitfull to you, or do you were unfaitfull to her and now you think you infeceted her? millons of people have stomach problems around the world that have nothing to do with hiv.

Now that i read your last post, first of all condom slipage is not a risk unless the forehead and uretra where uncovered, if that happened the only way to know would be testing since that was 10 weeks ago test now for a 99% accurate result and then at 13 weeks for a conlusive final result.

Good luck and always use condoms
