Worried sick at 3+ weeks

Hello Dr,

I am worried sick and struggling with extreme anxiety over this. I am a married man and was unfaithful to my wife roughly 3 1/2 weeks ago. Yesterday (day 23) I got tested by the clearview rapid test and it was negative. Within the last two days I have developed a sore throat and nasal congestion. The soar throat seems to be getting worse and now my wife has similar symptoms of a soar throat and clogged ears.

My possible exposure was with a female that live in the US but originally from Brazil. I don't know her status but I know she is educated with a masters degree and takes very good care of her physical being and she herself is engaged to be married (which may be insignificant but thought I'd give a clear picture). We had a one night stand basically that evening. I performed oral sex on her for roughly 10 min. Then we proceeded to vaginal sex and used a condom originally that lasted for about 20 mins. Due to intoxication we both fell asleep and awoke later. At this time the condom was off and we started to mingle again and we had unprotected anal sex for less then a minute and my nerves got the better of me to stop to put on a condom. When I got up to get a condom I noticed a small amount of fecal matter on the tip of my penis. This was enough to put sex out of my mind and I cleaned up in the bathroom and left.

Are symptoms those of ARS?

Since this exposure I have had unprotected sex with my wife and she has a soar throat too. Should she get tested?

How reliable is my 23/24 day rapid test?

Please help!! I can barley focus on anything else.

Test that early is useless, a DUO test at 28 days is very good indication and then 3 month antibody test would be conclusive.

Have not heard that.
The DUO test looks for antigens and antibody, antigen production peaks by day 28 and after that it drops off and the antibody production starts.

25 days of exposure.

By when?

One of the other forums says that 90% will develop antibodies by then.
