Pos from Head

On Nov 9th 2014 I had unprotected oral sex with a man who I later found out was HIV+ he sucked my **** and licked my balls and *** Two weeks later we both too a Oraquick Rapid HIV oral test that came out positive for him and negative for me he went to the physcian who did a blood test and found that he was indeed HIV +. I freaked out and instantly started doing research online I found many sites and forums that said HIV was rarely transmitted via recieving oral sex even if the person was HIV + I also saw that they are no cases that scientifically prove that someone can catch HIV from recieving oral. At six weeks I took another Oraquick Rapid HIV oral and it came out to be negative . I'm scared that I may be the first reported case I haven't had many symptoms I've had swollen lymph noyds at 6 weeks sore throat at 6 weeks and oral ulcers which I've had before and bloated stomach feels like I'm full even when I haven't eaten My two questions are 1) what are my chances of becoming the first person to catch HIV from recieving oral and getting rimmed And 2) have u ever seen two negative Oraquick Rapid HIV oral test turn positive after 6 weeks or can I count this as a good indication I don't have HIV and retest at 3 month mark please help

I know Vance and I'm sorry I guess the guilt and the fact that I was reckless in terms of not know who I'm dealing with is getting to me and I have no one to speak with about it so I come here but I won't post anything else I just have to be happy that I'm not HIV positive and move on and enjoy life again

There was no blood was no blood in his mouth and like I said all five oraquick test were negative my only concern now is if I should take a blood test to be sure but I don't believe I need to. I think my anxiety comes from the fact I work in a healthcare setting and I see patients and so when one of them comes in for a HIV test it freaks me out and even worse the few that end up testing positive and not knowing there story it scares me and I panic and worry that I may have gotten it as well because I've had similar symptoms such as abdominal pain but then even my buddy who is a infectious disease doctor says I'm at no risk and my six and 10 week test show that and the 12 week test was unnecessary but it put me at ease so that's the good thing

Only possible difference between Negligible and low risk is the factor whether there was blood (bleeding gums, strep throat or sever mouth infection) involved. Unless, there is significant amount of blood in mouth , there is no risk for a person being sucked.

I'm not worried I stop having symptoms ( all in my head) after the 10 week negative test I really just wanted to get professionals opinion because I wasn't able to see a doctor yet you know someone other than a box to tell me your results are conclusive

Hello, I think you are negative, but I think you are still worrying, go to the doctor to put your mind to rest I guess. Youre result will be negative.

So I took my 12 week (3month) 84 day Oraquick HIV 1/2 home antibody test  and it came back negative. Can I finally put this incident behind me and be sure that I am negative the test says that it is 99.9 % accurate with regards to negative results or should I wait like 2 more weeks and test just to make sure. I was told I should take a combo test to be 100% but can I just take these 5 (2 week, 4 weeks 6 weeks 10 weeks and finally 12 week all negative  and my low risk (insertive oral from a HIV pos male) and put this to bed

I don’t think a 10week Oraquick will ever change. Expect a negative result from you 3month test. Post your result here when you get it, it will help others.

I know there is a general consensus that HIV can't be transmitted by receiving head from a HIV+ person but I went and took a third test just to try to calm myself and at ten weeks I took a oraquick rapid oral HIV test at home and at 10 weeks it came back as negative my question would be how accurate is that test someone told me for negative people they are 99.9 percent at 12 weeks so about 95% accurate at 10 weeks however I was told at the three month mark I should take a combo test just to be sure would I guys agree with this assessment

Not for receiving oral sex...for giving, there is debate that there may be a minute risk, but even that isn't anything significant.

You had zero risk.
