No because had there been HIV in it, it would've been made inactive first right away by the air. No HIV risk.

I think your answer is very helfpul...But i checked already that the needle is hollow the blood can stuck..i tink the design for this accu check is only to prick the finger.I tried already to prick my self and the result even how many times i used this lancet there is no blood because needle hits only the skin and the hollow part of the needle will not touch the skin.But if the blood is stuck in the end of the needle..Do you think im in hiv risk
It will chance your answer...
@ Mr Teak your the respective in this site..Please explain what is my risk?
Thank you
@Nurse Girl..You informed to read in the threads...
@Mr Teak
Why Dr Edward and Dr HHH answered the question for lancets..They informed that there is a risk if someone use the needle before you..The Static is 1 out 1000...
1. There is a Risk in my case? If my cousin is HIV Positive theres a chance of Transmission...
2. The needle is hollow do you think hiv virus will die in 10 seconds?
NO. HIV transmission is NOT possible via a lancet. Search the forum and you will find many similar threads.
