Still a little worried.

Hi, I know this may be a little silly but I still always have this worry. I just got tested yesterday for HIV after experiencing what I thought to be was the ARS symptoms. My test came back negative, YAY! But, I'm still worried because me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex for about 4 months now (been together for a year.) What are the chances that he's gave me HIV and the test just didn't detect it?

And to anyone visiting this forum based on symptoms please do not let it worry you. I've had every symptom of HIV it seems like and I tested negative!

if you both havent had sexual contact with anyone eles in this time (your boyfriend 3 months prior to his testing in september) then you have nothing to worry about and are HIV negative.

Has your boyfriend tested negative? If he has tested negative and you both havent had sexual contact with anyone eles in a minimum of 12 weeks then you can safely say you are HIV negative. get him tested if he hasnt already to put your mind at ease.
