Can HIV be submitted if Saliva (maybe bloody) is rubbed on your penis

Dear Sir/Madam:

Yesterday, I had a sexual encounter with a new partner whereas she pulled out my penis to give me a handjob and in the mix she spit on my penis twice. I became uncomfortable and had her stop. I did not have any visible scars or cuts on my penis. Furthermore, I did not ejaculate. My concern is that some of her saliva may have seeped into my penis tip (uncircumcised) with the pre-cum. I was unable to see if her saliva had any blood in it given the lighting. When I arrived home a couple of hours later I washed my penis areas thoroughly with soap and water, urinated and ejaculated in hopes of getting out any possible contaminates.

I am concerned as I am usually a very cautious person. I was wondering what are the chances of getting HIV or other STDs from the described situation.

I sincerely appreciate your thoughts. Thank you!

Dear Polarbear,

But what evidence have you got this lady's hand had a cut or was bleeding? This is all conjecture on your part.
If you follow your logic everytime a person shakes another persons hand, you can ask what if they both had cut's on their hand.
Clearly you are very worried and confused about the situation. I can only suggest if you can't sleep over this, the best thing to do is to see your Doctor. Don't be embarrassed about telling him or her about what happened, they are professionals.
No one here on this site is going to convince you are OK.

Dear All.

I dearly appreciate all your caring insight . I realize I am losing it and have this developed gastro issues (slight direaha) which I think is safe to attribute to stresss-anxiety.

On the topic of blood making contact with the foreskin or  entering the urethra, I have taken note that in the unlikely event that blood was in saliva the saliva would neutralize it. However, in the instance the blood was from the hand or finger, would HIV mechanisms present be neutralized if it came in contact with saliva, the outter human body or air. I put my clothes back on within 1-2 minutes of the. Incident without wiping my self, so unsure of the amount of air available, I had pre-cum at tip of my penis and wash myself two hours after the event. It should be know that I am uncircumcised which is adding to my fears.

I would appreciate your professional verdict.

I think need to find myself another coping mechanism. Again I really appreciate this exchange of questions as I don't anyone else  who I can speak to on this matter .

Respectfully and truly yours!

Hi Polarbear,

Seems to me you probably feeling guilty about what you did. This is feeding your anxiety.
You imagination is feeding your mind with a lot of 'what ifs?'.A bit like leaving your house and wondering if you left the oven on.
I don't suppose for one minute this lady had a cut on her hand and even if she had blood in her salivia; the salivia would neutralize it. Again, HIV cannot pass through salivia.
Only unprotected anal sex, unprotected vaginal sex, drug users sharing needles, mother to child are high risk activities for transferring the HIV virus. The rest including your case is negligible.
If you want to take a   HIV test for peace of mind please do so. It will be negative.

Hello Again,

I sincerely appreciate your advice, means the world. Since I am uncircumcised with presence of foreskin if there were blood in the saliva or the hand of the lady, would I still be at risk. I know HIV dies quickly in open air/outside its environment, but I don't know how fast.

Again, I did not ejaculate and I did not allow the lady to finish out of fear. My penis was exposed in open air for maybe two minutes max and then I put my pants back on. I regret taking two hours to wash my penis area.

Does the additional information make things more risky?

Again, I am sorry about the repeated question. Need some mental help!

Regards!

I meant HIV cannot be transmitted through salivia. Impossible! Best wishes.

No risk at all.
As rocket27rocket said, salivia neutualizes HIV and HIV cannot not be transmitted salivia. Full stop. Stop worrying and move on.

Hi again,

I know I am paranoid. Besides the saliva, I am concerned  what if during this unprotected hand-job, the stripper's hand was bleeding (I think she may have been a drug user) or she had some other guys semen on it from a previous act. I am uncircumcised. I did not ejaculate and thoroughly washed myself about two hours after the incident.

I appreciate your insight.

Best regards

Hi again,

As per my previous advice, saliva neutrelises HIV, this is still not a risk no matter how it is dressed up.

Forget about HIV from this and move on buddy

Thanks for the response.

I have read that saliva neutralizes HIV. My concern is if the saliva contained blood or the person had poor oral hygiene. When she spat on my penis twice, my penis was fully exposed and there is the slight possibly of my penis having invisible cuts or it reaching my urethra as my penis is uncircumcised. However, I stopped her after a minute or so. I did not ejaculate but had precum at the tip of my penis.

I would appreciate your professional opinion with consideration of the above.
